Eye of the Tigris Bout

Join Assault City Roller Derby for their last home bout of the 2011 season! ACRD's Battery Brigade will take on Crown City Rollerz' Royal Pains in a no-holds barred showdown on Aug. 20th at the Greater Baldwinsville Ice Arena. This bout will be dedicated to ACRD's fallen skater Raging Ruby, with special collections and raffles to benefit her family and infant son. We encourage you to attend this bout and support the team that Raging Ruby loved so much.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the bout will begin at 7 p.m. $1 from every ticket sold will benefit the Tigris Shiners of Syracuse, and ACRD will be collecting baby items (diapers, wipes, gift cards in lieu of formula, etc.) for Raging Ruby's infant son, Brody, at the bout. Everyone who donates a new baby item will receive two raffle tickets to win a basket filled with ACRD merchandise and gift cards from local merchants. After the bout, fans can join the team in celebrating the bout and Raging Ruby's life at Sharkey's Eclectic Sports Lounge (7240 Oswego Rd, Liverpool).
